A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain across Orkney, extending to Shetland in the afternoon as brighter conditions reach Orkney. Some haar across Shetland in the morning. Fresh east or southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

A bright evening for Orkney with the odd shower then dry with clear spells overnight. Outbreaks of rain and low cloud over Shetland will clear north during the evening. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Tuesday 20th June:

A good deal of dry and bright weather but a few heavy showers over Orkney. More frequent showers extending up from the south in the evening. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Mainly cloudy with a chance of heavy showers and some haar on Wednesday. Dry and bright on Thursday and most of Friday but some rain possible by Friday evening..
