Any showers at first soon dying out. Then dry overnight with clear periods although cloudier skies moving in later. Winds staying light. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Thursday 6th July:
Another mainly dry day and bright with sunny spells and feeling warmer. Southeasterly winds will freshen towards evening. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Cloudy Friday morning with rain clearing. Dry Friday afternoon and for much of the weekend with sunny spells. Southeast winds strengthening on Friday, strong on Saturday, easing on Sunday.

New to the Orkney post
Reading you from afar . We are planning on moving to the orkneys and this is such a great way for me to feel connected
