Orkney’s Science Festival Tickets on Sale

Tickets for the 2023 Orkney International Science Festival will be on sale from Saturday 15 July at 12 noon.

With excellent support from funding bodies, the Festival has aimed to make ticket prices affordable to all, for a big range of talks, workshops, exhibitions, outdoor events and concerts. Some events, particularly the workshops, have a limited capacity and based on previous years’ experience, are expected to be in high demand. The Festival advises everyone to book as soon as they can.

Robbie Clyde, Head of EventScotland, sums up the Festival:

“We are proud to support the Orkney International Science Festival through our National Events Programme once again. Year on year this festival offers a distinctive programme of events which celebrate science, astronomy and exploration and its 33rd year is no exception.

“Its online and in-person events include walks, talks, music, art and film, workshops and exhibitions which will surprise, inform, excite and entertain all ages – not least The Sun installation at the stunning St Magnus Cathedral.

” Events such as Orkney International Science Festival play an important role in our communities, enabling us all to connect, enjoy and share memorable experiences, whilst also strengthening Scotland’s position as the perfect stage for events.”

Tickets will also be on sale at the Tourist Office in Kirkwall.
