The pretty village of St Mary’s, Holm was all of a bustle on Saturday 22nd July, as the community came together to celebrate its Gala Day. With a host of activities for all ages and a Regatta in the Bay.

Up at the Holm Community Centre, there was a bouncy castle in the Hall, lots of stall, and plenty to of delicious food to feed everyone.

This was very much a community event with people of all ages contributing to it.

At 2pm Kirkwall City Pipe Band played to the enjoyment of all, marching up to the Hall from the main street.
