The night will be dry throughout with clear periods becoming cloudy at times. Northwest winds, strong at first over Shetland and moderate over Orkney, fall light later. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Thursday 10th August:
A dry day, Orkney cloudy at first otherwise long periods of hazy sunshine and light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Rain pushing north for a time on Friday. Mainly dry and brighter Saturday and Sunday.
