Apart from the odd passing shower it will be a mainly dry day with variable amounts of cloud and some sunny intervals. Light southerly winds. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Tonight:

Some late brightness this evening. Then the rest of the night will be mostly dry with clear periods. Freshening southerly winds may bring a shower to Orkney later. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Monday 21st August:

The morning will be mostly dry with some sunshine. Clouding over in the afternoon with rain reaching Orkney later, Shetland remaining dry. Fresh south to southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A few light showers on Tuesday, perhaps some misty low cloud. Still the chance of a few showers on Wednesday and Thursday but some drier weather too.
