It will stay mostly cloudy with a few light drizzly showers lingering over Shetland, but some brighter spells for Orkney this afternoon. Light northwest winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy at first tonight with the odd patch of light rain. Dry later tonight with clear periods developing. Freshening northwest winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday 28th August:

It will be a mostly dry day and although rather cloudy at times, there will be some bright or sunny spells. Brisk westerly winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Cloudy on Tuesday with outbreaks of rain crossing the Isles. Brighter with scattered showers on Wednesday, then sunshine and still a few showers on Thursday.
