After a dry and clear start over Shetland, low cloud, patchy drizzle, mist and haar over Orkney spread north towards morning. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday 6th September:

Mostly dry with some bright spells but also some low cloud and haar at times. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Mostly dry with some bright spells but also some low cloud and haar at times. Perhaps a few showers on Thursday night. Cloud and outbreaks of rain spread east Saturday.
