The odd light shower across Shetland in the morning. Otherwise it will be a dry day with variable amounts of cloud and some sunny intervals. Brisk northwesterly winds across Shetland easing down. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Dry this evening with clear periods at first. Clouding over in the early hours with outbreaks of rain spreading northeast along with freshening southeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Sunday 24th September:

Overnight rain soon clearing away then dry for most of the day. Rain, heavy at times will spread northeast by evening. Windy in the evening with southeasterly gales. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Mainly dry and bright on Monday, breezy. Bright with a few passing showers on Tuesday. Chance of rain later on Wednesday.
