Tonight:

Clear periods and a few passing showers this evening and overnight, showers turning heavier later in the night. Freshening southwesterly winds across Shetland in the early hours. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Monday 2nd October:

A mix of sunny intervals and showers. Showers heaviest and most frequent across Shetland with Orkney seeing the best of the dry weather. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Bright and breezy with showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, a longer spell of rain likely for a time on Wednesday. Breezy. Turning colder and drier on Thursday.
