MSP Launches Survey

Highlands and Islands SNP MSP Emma Roddick has launched a survey “to better understand how constituents want to engage with their representative and politics.”

The survey asks constituents to rank the various activities of an MSP as well as make suggestions that would make them feel more represented in politics.

Emma Roddick explained:

“I’ve been out campaigning recently, speaking to folk across Scotland, and something I hear too often that upsets me is “I don’t vote”. Politics affects everything around us, and it bothers me that many people feel as though they cannot get involved and make a difference.

“It is really important constituents feel as though they are represented in politics. That is why I have launched this survey to ensure that I am effectively engaging with those that I was elected to represent.

“I want to hear from constituents around the region. I hope that people will join in on this conversation so I can make sure I’m doing all I can to serve you best as an elected representative.”
