A day of sunny spells and frequent showers, some of these could be heavy and possibly thundery at times. Feeling rather cold with gale or severe gale force west or northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Tonight:
Clear spells and showers through the evening, accompanied by northwesterly gales. Winds and showers will gradually ease overnight and becoming chilly. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Thursday 12th October :
A mainly dry and bright start but turning cloudier with showery rain arriving from the west. Southwesterly winds becoming strong through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Turning much colder with bright spells and showers, some heavy with hail or sleet at times. Northwesterly gales, severe on Friday night, but winds easing on Sunday.
