Today 14th October:

Cold and bright with continuing showers, these becoming wintry later even to lower levels. Feeling bitterly cold with strong to gale force northwesterly gales, perhaps severe at first over Shetland. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

There will be a mixture of clear intervals and occasional wintry showers, though any lying snow will be confined to hills. Strong northwesterly winds slowly easing. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Sunday 15th October:

Bright spells and few showers on Sunday, wintry at first over Shetland. Winds easing further. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Sunny intervals and a few showers on Monday and Tuesday, then dry with sunny spells on Wednesday. Turning a little milder, with light to moderate winds.
