Cloudy with bright spells at times, after a dry start showers spread in from the east, widespread over Orkney in the morning and Shetland in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with showers, widespread over Shetland at first. Showers clear and clear spells increase over Shetland from late evening becoming isolated over Orkney later. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday 25th October:

Cloudy and windy with a few showers over Orkney but drier and brighter over Shetland. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Cloudy and windy with rain at times over Orkney Thursday, drier and brighter Shetland. Sunny spells and a few showers Friday, becoming mainly dry Saturday.
