There will be a mixture of clear periods and a few passing showers perhaps wintry at times over the higher ground of Shetland. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Wednesday 1st November:

A bright morning with some sunny spells Thicker cloud bringing rain to Orkney in afternoon reaching Shetland by evening, with strengthening easterly winds, these reaching gale force in the evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday mainly dry and bright then rain and gales in evening, Friday cloudy with showers, winds easing. Remaining showery on Saturday.
