A cold, bright day with good sunny spells and a few light showers. Showers will be mainly confined to the coasts. Winds will be light and variable. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Tonight:

A cold evening and night with clear spells and a few scattered coastal showers. Winds will be light and variable. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Wednesday 6th December:

Another bright and cold day with sunny spells and a few coastal showers. Light variable winds will become southeasterly and freshen later in the day. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

An unsettled period with strong east or southeasterly winds, gales at times. Outbreaks of rain on Thursday, turning patchy on Friday. Further outbreaks of rain spread east on Saturday.
