Much milder. Windy

Today 20th January:

Early rain across Shetland will quickly clear eastwards in the morning. It will then be a mainly dry and bright day with the odd passing shower. A much milder day with brisk southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

A largely dry start to the evening but outbreaks of rain will spread in from the west, accompanied by strong to gale force southerly winds. Rain clearing later. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Sunday 21st January:

A few showers in the morning then dry for a while with a little brightness. Heavy rain will spread north across all parts during the evening and becoming very windy. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Very wiindy with blustery showers on Monday. Dry start to Tuesday but turning very wet and windy again. Drier and brighter on Wednesday with winds easing.
