This morning will begin dry with sunny periods, cloud and rain will spread north through the afternoon with a strengthening southerly wind bringing coastal gales at times. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Tonight:
Drier with clear spells at first. Heavy rain and squally winds for a time through the night. Winds veer westerly bringing clear spells and scattered blustery showers later. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Friday 26th January:
A chilly start. Clear spells and scattered blustery showers through the day, these showers heavy at times. Winds back southwesterly and strengthen bringing more frequent showers later. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Showers on Saturday and Sunday, persistent and locally heavy for a time. Stronger westerly winds on Sunday. Mostly clear and dry Monday, but rain spreads north into the evening.
