In 1824 the RNLI, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, was founded and as this is their 200th anniversary events will be taking place to celebrate and recognise the amazing work this voluntary organisation does in saving lives.
A book is to be published ‘To Save Every One’ which documents the work of the RNLI since 1824.
The book spans two centuries of dedication to saving lives at sea. From the courageous volunteers, to the lifeguards who keep beachgoers safe, and the thousands of selfless volunteer fundraisers who have dedicated themselves to powering the charity throughout its history.
‘To Save Every One’ will be published on 1 February in hardback and ebook, with royalties from sales supporting our lifesaving work.
