An updated FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Orkney.
This alert is for coastal flooding. Due to high spring tides and large waves there is a risk of flooding to low lying areas from Sunday evening onwards.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Sanday.
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected on Sanday. Any low-lying coastal roads and properties across the island exposed to the prevailing wind will be subject to significant wave spray impacts. High tides and wave overtopping is expected to affect low lying parts of Kettletoft, Silverhall, Cata Sands and Quivals Farm.
Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 11.45am on Sunday 11th February.

A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Westray.
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected on Westray. Wave overtopping may affect any low-lying coastal roads and properties across the island exposed to the prevailing wind will be subject to significant wave spray impacts.
Large waves and flooding impacts are expected.
The greatest risk is around the time of high tide on Sunday 11th February at 10.15am
