Still mainly dry with some bright spells over Shetland, otherwise mostly cloudy with a few light showers. Brisk east winds over Orkney but light winds across Shetland. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Tonight:

Staying cloudy with showery outbreaks of rain and brisk east to southeast winds over Orkney. Variable amounts of cloud but staying drier with lighter winds over Shetland. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Monday 11th March:

Mainly dry with bright spells and light winds for Shetland on Monday. Remaining cloudy with outbreaks of rain over Orkney, brisk easterly winds gradually easing. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Becoming drier on Tuesday before cloud and rain spread up from the south overnight, continuing through Wednesday, accompanied by strong southerly winds. Remaining cloudy on Thursday with outbreaks of rain.
