Shetland remains cloudy, windy and misty with rain or drizzle at times overnight but Orkney stays mainly dry becoming misty for a time. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Monday 18th March:

Misty at first with patchy rain or drizzle Shetland becoming drier and brighter from the south by the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Bands of rain cross the Isles from the west between Tuesday and Thursday, heavy at times and interspersed with periods clear spells and showers.
