This Saturday, 23rd March, the volunteers at Arcadia Park , Kirkwall will be planting trees and sowing wild flower seeds between 10 am and 4pm.

They are looking for extra help. If you can give any of your time why not pop along ?

You will be provided with gloves and spades but it is recommended you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Volunteers will be starting at 10am in the yard area to the north of the park, anyone arriving after 10am will find a message on the yard’s notice board with the site plan.

This is a great activity for all ages and a super way to get kids involved in planting up this wonderful public park.
