Bright spells and a few showers at first, cloud soon spreads north during the morning. Rain will follow north over Orkney in the early afternoon and Shetland towards the evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Overcast with patchy rain becoming persistent and heavy for a time through the late evening. This rain will clear Orkney shortly after midnight and Shetland towards morning. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Thursday 11th April:

A mostly cloudy and dry day with the occasional morning shower becoming drier and brighter through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Friday stay mainly dry with bright or sunny spells. Showers increase during Sunday becoming widespread from the evening.
