A cloudy start with a little patchy light rain and southwesterly coastal gales possible. Soon turning dry with good sunny spells, best of these across Orkney, as winds gradually ease. Feeling milder than recent days. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Staying dry through the evening but cloud building from the west. Patchy outbreaks of rain for a time in the early hours before turning drier and clearer towards dawn. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Friday 12th April:
Friday stays mainly dry and mild with bright or sunny spells, but maintaining brisk southwesterly winds. Cloud builds through the evening with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Sunny spells or showers Saturday. Showers, sometimes heavy or developing into longer spells of rain from Saturday evening to Monday. Blustery winds at times. Turning cooler again.
