Today 22nd April:

Overcast start to the week with patchy rain, drizzle and some fog patches. But this soon clears Shetland, then come mid-morning Orkney as largely dry and sunny conditions feed from the north on fresh northwest winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Mainly dry with occasional clear spells. However the odd light shower may develop, brought on fresh north to northwest breezes. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday 23rd April:

Mainly dry with occasional sunny spells, though temperatures are likely be a little down on Mondays maxs. The few light showers that do crop up generally confined across Shetland. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday and Thursday brings a mix of scattered quite light showers between bright and sunny spells. Showers turning heavier and more frequent for Friday. North to northwest winds.
