A bright day with some sunny spells and scattered showers, perhaps occasionally heavy at first, with some wintriness possible on the hills. Rather cool with an occasionally fresh northeasterly breeze gradually easing. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Some late bright or sunny, then clear, spells with the odd, mainly light, shower around this evening and overnight. Mainly light winds Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Friday 26th April:

Another bright but rather cool day with some sunny spells and a scattering of, mainly light, showers. Mainly light winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Rather cloudy Saturday with showers and a freshening easterly breeze. Showers or, especially Shetland, occasionally heavy rain Sunday with strong easterly winds. Brighter with showers Monday as winds turn southerly.
