Today 30th April:

A dry and bright day with some good sunny spells through the day. Perhaps the odd patch of low cloud. Milder, especially in the west of the Isles, with a fresh south to southeasterly breeze keeping east facing coasts cooler. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A sunny start to the evening then low cloud and haar spreading to Shetland around dusk and then increasingly affecting Orkney overnight. Moderate southeasterly breeze. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Wednesday 1st May:

A dry day. Areas of low cloud and haar may be persistent but a chance of warm sunny spells breaking through in sheltered western areas. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday will be dry with some sunny periods. Dry on Friday too but probably cloudier with a risk of haar. A better chance of sunshine again on Saturday.
