Today 9th May:

Orkney cloudy, and damp in the morning with some mist, then becoming dry in the afternoon, brightening a little. A damp start across Shetland but soon brightening up with some good sunny spells. Breezy for a while. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A sunny evening over Shetland but cloudy with some rain and mist over Orkney this pushing up to Shetland overnight. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Friday 10th May:

A mist start with patchy rain. Orkney soon brightening up with some hazy sunshine and turning warmer. Shetland dry by afternoon though continuing low cloud and haar. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Saturday will be dry and warm with some sunshine. Mostly dry, bright Sunday but greater chance of haar. Mostly dry bright Monday but chance of showers.
