It will be a dry day with lengthy sunny periods across the Isles, albeit hazy at times. Winds will be a moderate southwesterly, but easing for Orkney in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Tonight:
A dry night with sunny then clear spells. Winds will freshen through the early hours, especially for Shetland. More in the way of cloud arriving later in the night. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Monday 24th June:
A dry but fairly cloudy day for Shetland, while Orkney will be warm with some sunshine. Fresh winds for Shetland will gradually ease through the day. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Mostly settled through Tuesday and Wednesday with variable amounts of cloud and the odd shower at times. Becoming more unsettled by Thursday with spells of rain.
