The film will not be available to watch online after the fact so, if you have an interest in art, don’t miss it! The pair are proud of how the film has come together, and are seeking wider distribution for it.

Dimittit In Artes takes its title from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, an epic poem concerning the act of creation which was also famously referenced by James Joyce in his experimental novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. The film is about Vernon’s work, mortality, and the artistic struggle in general, presented as a discussion between the artist and an immortal spirit.
