Not to be missed this weekend is the Orkney Classic Motor Show organised by Orkney Vintage Club on Saturday and Sunday 3rd and 4th August at The Auction Mart, Kirkwall.

This annual event is a great day out for all the family. This year there is a special feature of Crawler Tractors, 65 years of the Mini, 60 years of the Massey Ferguson 100 Series, and 40 years of the Kawasaki Ninja.

On Sunday indoors there will also be an exhibition of retro and vintage toys and games.

Parking is provided in the field opposite the Mart and money raised goes to local charities. There’s food available from hot tasty snacks to ice creams, and stalls for a variety of other organisations.

This event by Orkney Vintage Club is run entirely by volunteers and is well worth your support for a grand day out too.
