There will be isolated light showers during the morning, but mainly dry and bright with some hazy sunshine. Winds light from the south or southwest. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

A fine end to the day with sunny or clear spells. Winds turning into the southeast and freshening overnight, perhaps the odd shower around Orkney by dawn. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Monday 12th August:

A mainly dry and bright start with the southeasterly winds becoming strong. Outbreaks of rain developing during the day, the rain possibly heavy and thundery. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Plenty of dry and bright weather, but occasional rain or showers will push through. Winds often from the south and fresh to strong at times.
