This morning will be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Remaining dry through this afternoon with sunny spells. South to southeasterly winds freshening later this afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Dry start this evening. Thickening cloud will bring rain towards midnight, then outbreaks of rain continuing for the rest of the night. Strong southerly winds, easing down later. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday 15th August:

Chance of some rain for a time in the morning, otherwise a dry and cloudy day. Windy at first across Fair Isle. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

A bright and breezy few days with the chance of a few passing showers. Brisk southwesterly winds.
