Frequent blustery showers driven through on strong northwesterly winds, touching gale force at times. A few sunny spells developing in the afternoon. Feeling cold for the time of year. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Showers continuing, most frequent through the evening with some perhaps heavy and thundery. Strong northwesterly winds, touching gale force in the evening. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Thursday 12th September:

A mixture of sunny spells and a few showers, these generally lighter than previous days. Strong northwest winds will gradually ease. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

A chilly start then mainly dry and bright on Friday. Outbreaks of rain and southwesterly gales on Saturday. Sunshine and a few showers on Sunday.
