A bright and breezy day with a mix of sunny spells and further blustery showers. Showers and the strong southwesterly wind will ease through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Clear periods and still some showers continuing during the night, especially across Shetland, becoming fewer by morning. Fresh westerly wind gradually easing down. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday 16th September:

A mostly dry day with just a few light showers continuing to affect Shetland. It will be a brighter day with sunny spells and winds becoming light. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A mostly dry, settled few days across the Northern Isles with just a few light showers on Tuesday. A mild few days with fresh southerly winds.
