The Merry Dancers Project Taster session will take place on Thursday 3rd of October, Youth Cafe, ground floor of Kirkwall Town Hall. The sessions and taster session are free of charge to all who attend.

Merry Dancers Project

This project aims to deliver weekly sessions to people living with Parkinson’s and MS. Carers and family members are very welcome to join the sessions.

These sessions are based on supporting social dance sessions for beginners and improvers, chair-based movement options that aim to support each person’s own development. A cup of tea/coffee and biscuits at the end of the session along with a yarn.

ALL are welcome.

These sessions have been funded by NHS endowment fund and Orkney wind farms.

Move Orkney are in collaboration with Orkney Islands Council, and will be based at the Kirkwall Town Hall in the youth cafe space on the ground floor. You can find this room down past the toilets and continue to follow the corridor down to the hall on the ground floor.
