The wonder that is Slime Mould

In our neighbour’s garden, a Slime Mould appeared which neither of us had seen before.  I think it looks like baked beans in tomato sauce – BUT IT’S NOT EDIBLE!

To  quote Terry Pratchett….“All Fungi are edible. Some fungi are only edible once.”

Also, some  bright yellow spiky ones….

In our garden – a couple of Slime Moulds – one of which I think looks like a Poodle
