A new exhibition of oil paintings by local artist Shona Firth opens on Friday 11th October at the Northlight Gallery in Stromness. Shona is a regular contributor to exhibitions in Orkney. Her work can be seen on the Facebook page: Shona Firth Art. This first solo exhibition Wavelength explores a life long fascination with wild water, the interplay of light and weather upon it – an attempt to paint the invisible.

Wavelength runs from Friday 11th October to Monday 28th October. Northlight Gallery is open daily between 11am and 4pm (except Sundays). Meet the artist from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 12th October.
