Today 6th December:

A bright day with sunny spells and a few passing showers. Feeling rather cold with brisk westerly winds but winds will ease during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Clear spells at first but becoming cloudy through the evening. Scattered showers will merge to longer spells of rain with freshening easterly winds over Orkney. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Saturday 7th December:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain in the morning then becoming drier and brighter in the afternoon. Feeling cold with northerly winds becoming strong. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Dry with sunny intervals on Sunday with winds easing. Mainly dry and bright on Monday and Tuesday but perhaps a little drizzle over Shetland.
