Kraak The Heron is back by the pond – catching frogs

 I did a poem for him

Kraak the Heron

 
Angular legs

Sleek lines on feathers

Focussed stillness

Yellow eye

Fatal stab.

 Flesh of frogs & fish

Lift-off

Sky-reach

Pterodactyl

Aubers the Pheasant patrolled the other end of the pond –  I think they were aware of each other, but keeping their distance

Aubers then hung about under the bird feeder to catch the bits from the Sparrows and Starlings feeding – they’re messy eaters!
