The evening rain will soon turn to scattered and blustery showers. The night will stay mild with the wind easing slightly later. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Monday 16th December:

A windy day with scattered morning showers. Showers ease in the afternoon as rain pushes north over Orkney. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

The wind will strengthen as rain becomes heavy Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Staying windy but becoming mainly dry Wednesday afternoon. Turning cold with blustery and wintry showers Thursday.
