Dry but cloudy at first over Orkney. Otherwise cloudy throughout the day with outbreaks of rain at times. Some brighter spells developing over Orkney towards evening. Mild with a fresh or strong southwest wind. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy at first with some patchy drizzle possible. Clearer spells developing through the evening and overnight, but a few showers. Staying windy. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday 14th January:

Bright spells and the odd shower at first, but clouding over through the morning with some outbreaks of rain through the middle of the day. Staying mild and breezy. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Windy but mild conditions continue throughout the week. Outbreaks of rain are expected most days with drier periods at times over Orkney. Staying quite windy.
