Today 27 January:

The day will remain cloudy, longer periods of rain in the morning turn showery by the afternoon. The strong southeast wind will turn northeast later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with scattered showers at first. Clear spells will increase as the showers become isolated later. The northeast wind will soon strengthen as it turns northerly. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday 28 January:

Some brightness and the occasional shower at first becoming cloudy with frequent showers by the afternoon. The wind will ease through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Outbreaks of rain Shetland Wednesday morning otherwise mainly dry with bright spells into Thursday night. A band of rain and showers pass eastwards early Friday, dry again by afternoon.
