This morning will see sunny intervals and occasional showers. Sunny spells this afternoon with a few passing showers but some dry weather too. Brisk west to southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Orkney will have a dry night with clear periods. Shetland will see clear periods and a few passing showers but it will be often dry. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Friday 28 February:

Chance of a shower across Shetland at first, otherwise dry with some spells of sunshine. Freshening southwesterly winds and cloudier skies later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Overnight rain on Saturday then bright and windy with the odd passing shower. Dry, windy for most of Sunday with southwesterly gales, occasional rain later. A few showers on Monday.
