A cloudy and mainly dry day with the occasional bright spell. Scattered showers over Shetland will clear in the morning with rain following towards the evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

A dry evening for Orkney otherwise cloudy with rain at times. The rain will clear by midnight with a few showers following towards the morning. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Monday 3 March:

Cloudy with sunny spells, Orkney will stay dry as scattered showers become widespread for a time over Shetland. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Cloudy and windy with rain at times Tuesday and Wednesday becoming drier with only the chance of an odd shower Thursday.
