A cloudy start with a few showers or patchy drizzle, mainly over Shetland. Turning drier and brighter through the morning with some sunny spells developing, although a few isolated showers. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

A mainly dry evening and night with variable cloud and some clear spells. Just a few isolated showers, these mostly in the evening. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday 26 March:

A dry day over Orkney with some bright spells. Cloudier over Shetland with some patchy light rain. Strengthening winds with rain spreading east in the evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Strong winds with rain or showers Thursday and Friday. Drier with lighter winds on Saturday, a few showers.
