Today 12 April:

Misty low cloud and drizzle clearing away from Shetland this morning. Otherwise it will be a dry day with some bright spells but a fair amount of high cloud around. Quite warm in any sunshine across Orkney. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A dry start this evening. Outbreaks of rain will spread northeast overnight, clearing Orkney later in the night but it will remain wet across Shetland. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Sunday 13 April:

Overnight rain soon clearing Shetland. Then it will be a mainly dry day with just the odd passing shower and some sunny spells. A colder day. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Rather cold with sunny spells and a few showers on Monday. Mainly dry and bright on Tuesday. Shetland may see some rain on Wednesday.
