It will be a mainly dry and bright day with some sunny spells. However, there will be scattered or isolated showers, these most likely across Shetland. Chilly north or northwest winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Staying mainly dry this evening and overnight with the cloud breaking at times. Still the chance of the odd shower, mainly in Shetland. Winds turning into the northeast, mainly moderate. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Saturday 19 April:

A bright day with sunny spells and a scattering of showers. It will feel chilly in the moderate to fresh northeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Plenty of dry and bright weather although still the odd shower around. Remaining on the chilly side, but winds often light, mainly northeast to southeast in direction.
