This morning will be dry and cloudy. This afternoon will remain dry although with a good deal of cloud. Fresh northeasterly winds across Shetland at first, easing down this afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry with a few cloud breaks. Then the rest of the night will be dry although staying cloudy. Freshening southeasterly winds across Orkney later. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Monday 21 April:

Dry for most of the day with some brightness across Orkney, cloudier across Shetland. Rain may reach Orkney later in the evening. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Cloudy with some rain on Tuesday. Orkney brightening up in the afternoon. Dry on Wednesday and Thursday. Light winds.
